French designer Christophe Lemaire creates artfully subdued collections with a laser-like point of view, working and reworking his signature shapes and pieces, often drawing inspiration from work wear and Asian traditional dress. For Fall, he showed a full range of silhouettes (cigarette trousers, super-pleated full trousers and everything in between) in a brighter palette than his usual. The collection is polished, somber, but fresh and full of pieces that his fans (us included) will eat up.
